Power Controls and Systems (PCS) continues to lead the way towards a more sustainable energy future with its recent contribution to photovoltaic development at the Central American Technological University (UNITEC) in Francisco Morazán. With the 80 Kwp Photovoltaic project, PCS has marked another milestone in its commitment to innovation and environmental responsibility.
This project, which was carried out during the period from January to March 2020, represented a notable collaboration between PCS and integrators. Together, they worked tirelessly to carry out the photovoltaic installation on the UNITEC campus, with the aim of harnessing solar energy as a renewable source and reducing the university’s carbon footprint.
The 80 kilowatt-peak (Kwp) facility at UNITEC not only provides a clean and sustainable energy source, but also serves as an inspiring example of environmental leadership for the student community and society at large.
PCS, assuming responsibility for manpower service, played a crucial role in every stage of the project. From initial planning and installation to final testing and commissioning, the PCS team demonstrated their expertise and dedication to ensure project success in a timely manner.
In addition to providing exceptional workmanship service, PCS is committed to ensuring workplace safety and meeting the highest standards of quality and sustainability. Every aspect of the project was carried out with care and precision, ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
The 80 Kwp Photovoltaic project at UNITEC is a testament to PCS’s commitment to technical excellence and environmental responsibility. This project represents just one of many that PCS has participated in, and we look forward to continuing to collaborate on initiatives that promote a more sustainable and prosperous future for all.
